The application period is now open for the sixth edition of 'Generación FP' to promote entrepreneurship among Vocational Training students

  • For three months, more than 30 students will work on how to lead and launch a project in a simulated environment, with their own project, to win a prize of 1.000 euros

The Malaga City Council, through Promálaga, a municipal company belonging to the Area of ​​Innovation, Digitalization and Investment Attraction, and the Area of ​​Education and Employment Promotion, promotes entrepreneurship and employability of Vocational Training students in Malaga through its collaboration in the sixth edition of 'GeneraciónFP El Training'.

Since its inception, 'GeneraciónFP' has enjoyed the support of the Malaga City Council, in line with its objective of promoting and fostering entrepreneurship among young people in Malaga. This initiative is complemented by Teenbizz, aimed at children between 9 and 14 years old, which uses workshops to introduce them to entrepreneurship, awakening their talent and entrepreneurial spirit.

The councillor for Innovation, Digitalization and Investment Attraction, Alicia Izquierdo, together with the councillor for Education and Employment Promotion, María Paz Flores, representatives of the Delegation of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Junta de Andalucía in Malaga, and the CEO of Diverxia Consulting, Daniel Salobreña, have reported today on this new edition of 'GeneraciónFP'.

The program, organized by Diverxia Consulting and officially sponsored by Promálaga, aims to equip vocational training students with the necessary skills to launch a business idea, both in terms of project development and cross-cutting competencies.

The pre-registration period to participate in the 'GeneraciónFP' program is now open and, once the students have been selected, it will begin in March.

Until next May, more than 30 students from Malaga will work on how to lead and launch a business project in a simulated way, which they will later present to a professional jury in the final phase of the initiative.

A winning business idea and a prize of 1.000 euros

'Generation FP' is the first training An experiential entrepreneurship program for students in Malaga's Vocational Training program, for both public and private schools in Malaga city, in which nearly 200 people from Malaga have been trained in entrepreneurship and leadership in its five previous editions.

With a predominantly practical working model based on active methodologies such as ABRetos (Challenge-Based Learning), simulations, gamification and flipped classroomStudents will work on two blocks: the knowledge and experience to launch a business project, and the development of the key transversal skills for such a business.

The program consists of 12 face-to-face sessions, each divided into three phases: training, teamwork with mentors on their own project, and, this year, the experiential phase, where they will meet with entrepreneurs to learn about the path to success and the mistakes that occur along the way.

The program will end with the Final Round challenge, in which the proposals will be presented to a professional and independent jury, and the winner will receive a prize of 1.000 euros in an Amazon voucher.

The classes will be taught by professionals in each area at the Promálaga Economistas incubator, located at 34 Beatas Street, as well as in different educational centers and companies in Malaga.

'GenerationFP' is the first training of entrepreneurship and leadership for Vocational Training students and has the collaboration of CaixaBank Dualiza, the Delegation of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Junta de Andalucía, FP Innovación and the IES Romero Esteo.
