Features of the expansion
The facility, located in the Teatinos-Universidad district, will expand the area for businesses, meeting rooms, and multipurpose spaces, among other areas. The La Píndola incubator occupies the main building of a renovated Andalusian farmhouse and is distributed across the ground and first floors, currently offering six spaces for entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries. Furthermore, the facility is attached to the building, and the walls of the remaining original farmhouse surround a courtyard, corresponding to the area where the incubator expansion works are taking place.
As a result of the expansion works, the incubator will have a total of 15 spaces for companies, 3 meeting rooms, an office, a multipurpose room and a common use patio of 80 square meters.
The Municipal Network of Incubators aims to offer incubation services and business support to entrepreneurs in Malaga.
