18/03/2024.- The municipal company Promálaga, belonging to the Area of Innovation, Digitalization, Promotion and Attraction of , has started today fourteenth edition of its 'Promálaga Mentoring' program with an act in which the thirteenth was also closed. The meeting, held at the Victoria Beer Factory, included the participation of the delegate councilor for Innovation, Digitalization and Investment Capture, Alicia Izquierdo.
'Promálaga Mentoring' began its journey in 2016 and since then a total of 128 companies have received advice from professionals (mentors) to find new business opportunities and choose the most suitable professional path.
Today's event has brought together the entrepreneurs of both editions, as well as the program's mentors. The objective in combining the closing of the thirteenth edition and the inauguration of the fourteenth has been, like last year, promote the networking among businessmen, share their experiences and address future collaborations.
During the meeting, the 'Promálaga Mentoring' diplomas were presented to the participants of the thirteenth edition, who were: Xperiend (real estate investments and tourist rentals), I dress you (Personal image consultants), Music Therapy Malaga (music therapy intervention plans), Sarao Creative Studio (marketing company), Agile Seller (fashion consultant), Bold Womban (garments for pregnant and breastfeeding), Development nest (personal development school), Falke Esports (e-sports club) and Meibool (leather design and craftsmanship).
Likewise, the 8 startups that begin the new edition:
- Tarrazona Studio: photography and video.
- Natalia Bianchimano: family and corporate photography.
- Costa del Sol Interiors: Design and interior decoration.
- The showcase: cultural management of Malaga art.
- Made to shine: stationery for weddings, baptisms, communions and all types of events.
- Kiki Silvarum: floral designs for events, brands, companies and artistic projects.
- Opus Orbe Building: rehabilitation and interior design with sustainable systems, feasibility studies for the development of new technologies applied to construction, carrying out ITE of buildings, etc.
– StartFinUp: accounting, bookkeeping, auditing and tax advisory activities.
14 EDITIONS ADVISED BY EXPERT PROFESSIONALS
Each edition of 'Promálaga Mentoring' lasts six months in which entrepreneurs receive Free advice from specialized mentors in all business areas. The objective is to accelerate the development process of the startups selected through the support of these professionals.
The experts, with more than 10 years of experience in the areas of sales, communication, coach, legal and economic, and economic-financial, hold meetings with participants to help them advance their business strategies.
In addition to personal meetings with the mentor group, presentations and conferences networking, activities with which entrepreneurs can learn and grow on a personal and professional level.
The program is coordinated by Laura Girl, psychologist, coach and writer, and Agnes Skotnicka, innovation consultancy, corporate strategy and technology marketing. They are part of the mentoring team Juan Francisco Rodríguez, expert in the area of strategy and operations; Maria Jose Villa, lawyer and entrepreneur; Manuel Quesada, specialist in economic analysis; Alberto Calderon, expert in financial advice; Azahara Vera, marketing specialist; jesus pedrero, technological entrepreneur expert in ICTs; and Ricardo Nandwani, expert in digital transformation.
