This initiative of the Department of Education and Promálaga aims to awaken interest in entrepreneurship in students between 9 and 14 years
From March 23 to April 12, the online voting process will remain open to choose the best projects carried out by these students in the initiatives 'The Happiness Machine' and 'Smart City'
23/03/2023.- The 2022/2023 edition of the educational program 'Teenbizz', joint initiative of the Department of Education and the municipal company Promálaga, belonging to the Area of Promotion of the City and Attraction of Investments of the , enters its final stretch. The Workshops given to Primary and Secondary schoolchildren They ended on March 16 with the participation of 27 Malaga centers and 746 schools.
During this 2022/2023 edition, Primary students (499 schoolchildren) have created 'The Happiness Machine' with the aim of knowing the basic concepts of entrepreneurship. Secondary 1st and 2nd years (247 schoolchildren) have worked on projects related to 'Smart City' and with the Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 2030, established by the UN for the 2030 horizon. They have dealt with issues such as reducing poverty, environmental management and protection, energy saving, social inclusion, equality and citizen participation, among others.
Finally, the projects have materialized in videos and the students themselves have selected the best of both initiatives. From March 23 to April 12, you can vote on the videos through the web www.teenbizz.es.
On April 19, the winning teams in each category, 'The Happiness Machine' and 'Smart City', and the dates on which they will receive diplomas and educational games to promote their creativity and personal development will be announced.
PROMOTION OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SCHOOLCHILDREN AGED 9-14
'Teenbizz' has as its main objective arouse interest in entrepreneurship in schoolchildren between the ages of 9 and 14. In the workshops organized by Promálaga, values such as creativity, teamwork and the capacity for initiative are promoted through the creation of prototypes of innovative projects that improve society.
The Early Childhood and Primary Education centers have participated with 'The Happiness Machine': CEIP Hernández Cánovas, CEIP Manuel de Falla, CEIP Jorge Guillén, CEIP Gandhi, CEIP Cristo de Mena, CEIP Giner de los Ríos, CEIP Doctor Gálvez Moll, CEIP Luis Braille, CEIP Clara Campoamor, CEIP Nuevo Guadaljaire, CEIP Jábega, CEIP Ciudad de Mobile, CEIP Ramón del Valle Inclán and CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Luz.
The institutes IES Belén, IES Christine Picasso, IES Ben Gabirol, IES María Victoria Atencia, CEIP El Tarajal, CDP El Divino Pastor, CDP La Divina Pastora, IES Nuestra Señora de la Victoria, IES Emilio Prados, have participated with 'Smart City'.
