  • The board of directors has given the green light to participate in two of the main entrepreneurship and innovation events that Malaga will host this year.
  • The municipal company updates the rates of the Municipal Incubator Network to adapt its spaces and services to the evolution of the entrepreneurial ecosystem

The board of directors of Promálaga, a municipal company of the Malaga City Council belonging to the Area of Innovation, Digitalization and Investment Attraction, today approved its participation in two of the main entrepreneurship and innovation events to be held this year in the city: Malaga Sun&Tech by Alhambra Venture 2026 and Talent Land Spain 2026. It also approved the update of the fees for the Municipal Incubator Network (RMI), incorporating for the first time those corresponding to Núcleo, the new Semiconductor Innovation Hub.

Through these agreements, Promálaga continues to strengthen its commitment to entrepreneurship, innovation, and the creation of new opportunities to connect talent, businesses, and investment, while also adapting its services to the current needs of the Malaga business ecosystem.

Boost to two major entrepreneurship and innovation events

With the approval of both events, Promálaga reinforces its commitment to initiatives that help consolidate Málaga as one of the leading technology and entrepreneurship hubs in Southern Europe. On the one hand, it has been approved to participate with €300.000 (excluding VAT) in Málaga Sun&Tech by Alhambra Venture 2026, an international investment and technology forum to be held on November 18 and 19 at the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (FYCMA). The event aims to connect startups, companies, investors, and stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem, fostering investment, generating business opportunities, and promoting the growth of high-potential technology companies.

The Council has also approved a sponsorship of €300.000 (excluding VAT) for Talent Land Spain 2026, which will take place from November 24 to 26, also at FYCMA. Considered one of the largest national events dedicated to talent, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, it will bring together young people, professionals, companies, institutions, and experts for three days around a comprehensive program of conferences, workshops, activities, and networking opportunities focused on talent development and innovation.

Core Fees and Incubator Upgrades

The board of directors has also approved the updating of the rates for the Municipal Network of Incubators, with the aim of adapting the prices to the evolution of the different spaces and services managed by Promálaga.

The review covers offices, coworking spaces, industrial buildings, commercial premises, workshops, and studios distributed across the various municipal incubators. It also includes, for the first time, the rates for Núcleo, the Semiconductor Innovation Hub, the new specialized space located in Málaga TechPark.

In the case of Núcleo, the coworking space is priced at €100 per month, while open offices will have a rate of €9 per square meter per month and closed offices €10 per square meter per month. All amounts are exclusive of VAT.

As for the rest of the Municipal Incubator Network, the new rates update the prices of the different spaces according to their type and location, maintaining an offer adapted to the different phases of development of business projects and the entrepreneurial fabric of the city.

Most rates are frozen: the monthly price, excluding VAT, remains at €10 per square meter for offices, €4,50 per square meter for warehouses, €5,50 per square meter for laboratories, €9 per square meter for retail and craft spaces, and €13 per square meter for studios. Coworking space rates are updated to €150 per month, standardizing this price across all incubators.

Meeting rooms and training rooms will remain free for incubated companies when activities are free for participants. In all other cases, rates will range from €10 to €20 per hour for meeting rooms and from €20 to €30 per hour for training rooms. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
