ELVITEN: Electric vehicles

Objectives

The Elviten project is being carried out in 6 European cities: Genoa, Rome, Bari, Malaga, Berlin and Trikala, with the aim of proving that a more innovative, sustainable and connected urban mobility system is possible. For this, technological tools have been implemented that allow the exchange, reservation of charging points and monitoring of the fleet of 383 light electric vehicles (bicycles, scooters, tricycles and quadricycles), in addition to a smart card for management of incentives.

During the duration of this project, information will be collected on its frequency of use, the opinions, evaluations and most common problems that users have encountered, as well as other data of interest that help improve it and implement it in another 50 cities. European.

EXPECTED RESULTS AND MEASURES TO IMPLEMENT

  • Analysis of similar forms of mobility and their results.
  • Identification of the real needs of users to offer a useful and efficient service.
  • Raising awareness in society about the importance of using more sustainable means of urban transport.
  • Dissemination of the project and promotion of its use through advertising and communication campaigns in the different available media.
