Impulso Empresarial 2022 subsidies

1. OBJECT

The granting of a non-refundable subsidy for business promotion aimed at newly created companies that are going to make productive investments in the city of Malaga.

2. TYPES OF APPLICANT

Natural persons: Individual entrepreneurs, limited liability entrepreneurs and civil societies. Legal entities: Sociedades Limitadas, Sociedades Limitadas Nueva Empresa, Sociedades Anónimas, Sociedades Laborales, Sociedades Cooperativas de Trabajo para el impulso empresarial.

3. REQUIREMENTS

  1. 1. The main activity must be carried out in the municipality of Malaga, and the registered office and tax domicile must also be in the municipality of Malaga.
  2. 2. The company must have started its activity and have been registered with the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE) with the Tax Office and Social Security for a maximum of 30 months at the date of application.
  3. 3. A minimum investment of €1.500 must be made, in accordance with the criteria set out below.
  4. 4. The business project must be technically and economically viable.
  5. 5. That they are considered SMEs, in accordance with Annex I of Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of the European Commission.

4. AMOUNT

The subsidy percentage will be 50% of the investment project and/or eligible expense, with a maximum subsidy amount of 10.000 euros.

5. ITEMS ELIGIBLE FOR SUBSIDIES

Expenditure:

  • Certification of management systems and products: quality, environmental, R&D+i, safety.
  • Adaptation and implementation of personal data protection regulations (LOPD) and adaptation of the website to the law on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE).

Investments:

  • Rehabilitation and adaptation of the property where the business activity will be carried out, which must be located in Malaga Capital. Technical fees for drafting the project, construction management and health and safety study are included.
  • Acquisition of machinery for the work center that must be located in Malaga Capital.
  • Technical installations of the work center that must be located in Malaga Capital.
  • Furniture and equipment of the work center that must be located in Malaga Capital.
  • Computer equipment and hardware to use in the work center that must be located in Malaga Capital.
  • Licenses and Software. The software subscription model will be valid as long as it is related to the applicant's business activity and for a period of at least one year.
  • Corporate image design. Excluding printing costs.
  • Design and development of web pages or virtual corporate portals.
  • Art and graphic design for digital applications.
  • Web content translation.
  • Development of R&D prototypes (may include material and consumables necessary for the construction and development of prototypes). An explanatory report must be provided justifying the materials necessary for its development.
  • Product certification.
  • Processing of the registration of trademarks, trade names, patents, utility models and licences for use. The amount of the fee is not included.

There will be no subsidising of: : Any expense or investment that is not expressly included in the previous section. With special consideration there will be no subsidising of::

  • The acquisition of any material considered consumable or fungible, as well as the initial stock of merchandise (except as indicated for R&D prototypes).
  • The purchase or rental of premises.
  • The equipment, furniture and/or rehabilitation for tourist apartments.
  • VAT, fees or any tax.
  • The acquisition of goods or expenses that are not strictly necessary for the business activity.
  • Printing and stationery expenses.
  • Personnel expenses are of whatever type they are.
  • Vehicles of any type, including any for the use of public or private transport of people or merchandise.

6. HIGHLIGHTS

The investments and expenses may NOT have been executed prior to the grant application. Therefore, neither the invoice date nor the proof of payment can be dated prior to the request. The investments and expenses must be purchased from third parties by the beneficiary of the subsidy, and be contracted and paid directly by the beneficiary (natural or legal person) or the administrator to the final provider.
