Promálaga-La Brecha is located in the surroundings of Calle Carretería, Calle Nosquera and Calle Andrés Pérez. The space is developed in a newly created plaza called Plaza Pintor Eugenio Chicano, with access from Calle Muro de las Catalinas and Calle Andrés Pérez, in the heart of the Historic Center of the City.

Promálaga-La Brecha is configured as a dynamic center that provides spaces for craft activities, through 8 commercial premises.

The Promálaga-La Brecha Project has been made possible through co-financing by the European Regional Development Funds (FEDER) through the development of the FEDER ANDALUCÍA Operational Program "Arrabales y Carreterías: Málaga Urban Initiative 2007-2013", which included the implementation of an artisan incubator called Calle de la Artesanía.
