11/03/2024.- The will once again publicly recognize this year the work carried out by companies in the city that stand out in the promotion of equal rights and opportunities between women and men. On February 2, the Local Government Board approved the call for the fourth edition of the 'Equal and Conciliatory Malaga Company' badgeswhose Applications may be submitted from March 8 to April 22 2024 (both inclusive), through the Consistory's TRAMITA online platform.
These awards are intended to reward the effort in the start-up and maintenance of actions or measures that favor the elimination of inequalities and the implementation of egalitarian policies and corporate social responsibility, as well as stimulating and making visible those entities that are involved in combating inequalities, facilitate and promote the incorporation of women in the workplace.
As stated in the rules, it will be the companies themselves, with private capital, that present their candidatures, providing a supporting report of the measures adopted in favor of gender equality and conciliation developed in the last three years, as well as documents accrediting these actions (equality plans, labor agreements...).
As many badges will be awarded as applicants meet the established assessment criteria and obtain the minimum required score. Besides, Companies recognized in previous editions can also renew their badges presenting new measures implemented.
The prize will consist of the granting of the distinctive 'Equal and Conciliatory Malaga Company', through the delivery of a plaque, a seal and a diploma that will identify the company with its commitment to equality between men and women from their scope of action.
The achievement of this distinction will allow the citizens of Malaga in general and the business sector in particular to learn about the group of companies that are committed to measures that allow them to continue advancing in the eradication of any type of inequality or discrimination based on sex, as well as those that enhance the reconciliation of professional, personal and family life to the entire company staff.
Publicity and public recognition of obtaining this distinction will be done through the available municipal resources, as well as the city media, so that it serves as a model of good practices and even some benefits can be obtained when competing in public contracts.
In the first edition, they were distinguished Juan Cruzado-Vértice Salud Foundation, Ikea Ibérica, Activities and Learning Paneque-Catalán and Magtel Operations; in the second it was ANP Extraneous Prevention Service, and in the third, whose delivery ceremony is scheduled for next February 19, López Cano Restauración, Sipadan Servicios Formativos, Fundación Maude and Norma Básica will be recognized, in addition to renewing their distinctive Activities and Paneque-Catalan Learning and Juan Cruzado-Vértice Salud Foundation.
